About the Author

A Marine aviator and family physician, C.B. Caleb Woodworth and Proverbs 31 wife, Emily, left the world to follow Holy Spirit as restoration (inner healing) missionary pastors over the last twenty-six years. More from C.B. Caleb

In a world that is growing darker and where hope seems far away, we need to hear about the goodness and faithfulness of God all the more.

This little book of true God Stories will introduce you to the wondrous ways Holy Spirit works to accomplish His will and purposes. Sometimes referred to as miracles, these “Kisses from Heaven” have most often come as a complete surprise or at the eleventh hour to turn ordinary events into inexplicable, extraordinary, or even supernatural ones.

Whether you are doubtful and need a reason to believe or you are a faithful believer grown weary in your walk, you will find story after story of God’s gracious intervention in the lives of mortal men and a hopeful reminder of the goodness and faithfulness of our heavenly Father.

So, Christian, come join us for a walk through our encouraging, if not eye-opening, personal little book of God Stories. We pray it becomes the harbinger of Jesus sharing tender mercies to and through your own lives, leading to an awesome Kiss from Heaven or two for you to pass on to the kids, grandkids, and generations to come.

Author Interview

Are you a one project at a time author or do you have multiple projects going at once?

One new story at a time, but I’m always reviewing many along the way to spot ways to improve them, find more suitable words, and to re-enjoy the experience once again.

How has your life experience helped in your writing journey?

I am not trying to be cute, but my life experience has been my writing experience—and my writing experience my life experience. The God Stories in the Kisses from Heaven series detail a lifelong pursuit of God and reflect my deepest desire to give Him the glory due His name.

Where do you find you greatest inspiration?

In my encounters with Him, which become God Stories. As the Apostle Paul says in Acts 4:20, I cannot help speaking about what I have seen and heard. I will be inspired to write His stories until the day He graciously provides my last breath.

Do you have extensive outlines when writing or do you write a book as you go?

I have the stories in my memory (I suppose as an outline), and I have always written them from memory. But the “postscripts,” the insights I’ve tucked at the end of each chapter are, I hope, as Holy Spirit has directed me to write (although I am sure I get in the way a share of the time).

Do you remember the first book you read?

It was a New Testament the size of a little matchbox. From the text I remember: “Do not judge lest you be judged for with what measure you mete it shall be meted unto you.” On its last page was this poem: Stop, look, and listen, before you cross the street; use your eyes, use your ears, and then use your feet.” Life would have been smoother if I had practiced that little gem. Come to think about it, both of them.

What do you need in your writing space to stay focused?

Quiet . . . and cookies.
